Bio

Astrid Casimire is a writer from Trinidad and Tobago with over 10 years' experience in areas such as blogging, journalism, government communications, copy editing and more. She received a Bachelor's in Human Biology and a Master's in Communication from Stanford University. Her unique background in both science and communications allows her to write across genres, applying both an analytical mindset and a creative lens to her work. She has written for Ins & Outs of Trinidad and Tobago, the Office of the Prime Minister, Trinidad Express Newspaper, The Stanford Daily, Alpha Medical, Bay City News and its partner website LocalNewsMatters.org. She currently works at the Office of the Prime Minister. In her free time, she enjoys freelance writing, reading and learning more about her Catholic faith.
